T his blog will once again go under a transformation over the next few days/weeeks/months, hopefully the final one! I now own "mynameismike.ca" seeing as I am Canadian, and my name is Mike.  The "mynameismike" name has been around me since I was 14 when I chose it for my MSN messenger address, and since then my usernames have always been mynameismike, even my Blogger account uses it. At first I thought it was just childish, but lately I've been glad that I kept my username all these years, and hopefully will start something with it. Hopefully. ;)

Flying to Amstermdam, 2006
I t is time again for a new template for my blog, it seems I have more fun redesigning the look of the blog than actually writing entries. So instead of attempting at writing something each day, I will attempt to post a picture daily, instead of writing "It's been _# of months" every few months.
I am really enjoying the new layout, I wanted to do something very plain and simple, nothing to flashy seeing as I'll most likely just be posting pictures with actual written entries only here and there. With this sort of template I find the photos on my blog stand out a bit more. There are still a few things I am tweaking with and changing but the overall layout is done. Hope you like it.

M y roommate Carla, works a few nights a week at the local Bingo Hall, well last night her boyfriend and I decided we would go to work with her and play Bingo seeing as we weren't doing much else. We played around 12 games, and realized that we are too slow to play multiple cards at once.  The exciting part of the night was that we both ended up winning. Dave (Carla's boyfriend) won first, winning $150. A few games later I won a $100. Seeing as we were splitting we both walked out with $125. Today, I bought two Tennis racquets and three tennis balls, so that Carla and I can eventually try out tennis at the courts down the street. When we got back from buying everything we realized we both had forgotten our keys, our building's intercom system was on the fritz and no cars were in the parking lot. We ended up hitting a tennis ball back and forth for an hour or so in the parking lot waiting for someone to come home and let us in. Lesson learned, always have one person take their keys.
